Elon Musk grew up with a silver stick up his ass. His false modesty and practiced stoicism is just a cover for a dark very damaged individual whose narcissism (like The MAGA King's) attracts those that score high on gullibility, intolerance and have stunted cognitive abilities. The worse the Don or the Elon act the deeper the bond grows with the criminally minded factions of our society.

"Elon Musk grew up with a silver stick up his ass."

An emerald one, to be precise. Still no less entitled though.

I was born the year that World War 2 ended. The year I graduated from high school here in Florida, the schools were segregated. When my Mother was born, women were not allowed to vote. As a married woman, I could not get a credit card on my own, only under my husband’s name. As the years passed it felt that our country was progressing, moving into more enlightened times, and more & more, everyone was becoming equal, too slowly for many, but still headed in the right direction. I’m not sure when it changed, but it did change, gradually, & when Donald Trump rode that escalator down, it became evident that the country was also headed down, & to many of her citizens, they were losing ground in their struggle to thrive & prosper.

The Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil. You don’t have to be a Christian to see that in action. Money & power seem to be the goal of too many in our government. They have wrestled power from others who strive to govern for the benefit of every individual. We have money for endless war, but none for those who have been stricken with illness & can’t afford the help they need to recover, so lose everything, their savings, their homes, in an effort to survive. That’s just one example.

I try not to despair & lose hope, but some days it’s hard not to be depressed. I hope that those of us who see the direction that those greedy, selfish people want to take us, that we will strongly resist & vote them out. Please. Vote.

It's actually "for the love of money is the root of many evils" which for me at least takes the blame off the money and puts it on the actual greedy individual where it should be. I said earlier today that until integrity becomes profitable you won't find a man running for or in office that has any.
