We have to push for reinstating the Telecommunications Act and push for The Right to Respond (instead of The Fairness Doctrine because Repubs' Pavlovian reaction to the name itself puts them into a tailspin)
Thanks for this Jen. Only just watched your brilliant documentary last week. Explains the problem so clearly. I wish your message was being spread even further. Just this week Mary Trump discussed the Dominion suit on her show and nobody seemed to know or want to say that the right wing media complex has literally been brain washing people for decades. I’m sure Dr Hassan (@cultexpert) could explain exactly how but his voice doesn’t get spread nearly wide enough either. Why O Why wasn’t reinstating the fairness doctrine and reversing big media monopolies a higher priority for Biden/Congress during our two years of control?

Thank you for this post. I bought Jen’s book last year, then bought two more to give to friends. Unfortunately we all have friends and family folks who have drunk the kool-aid and are stuck in the muck. While none of us are in a place to help our folks as Jen and her mom did with Jen’s dad, it gives tremendous insight as to how things have gotten this far out there. Thank you Jen for doing this work and thank you Richard for getting the word out.

Their business was to crudely and loudly make politics dirtier and exasperating.
The Democrats were maligned repeatedly. People of color lied about regularly. And some white people with old and recently acquired grudges, ate it up.
These ‘ hosts’ of the alleged news lied with impunity much like their hero , DJ T, who was first and foremost a constant ridiculous liar with a poor vocabulary.
Dominion finally said ‘ enough’ .
