March 10, the day I wrote the article stating that Trump had lied us into the coming pandemic (in which the death toll as of Aug 29 is now 187,000), Trump said: “Be calm. It’s really working out and a lot of good things are going to happen.” On March 15 he said: “It’s hard not be happy with the job we’re doing, that I can tell you.” On April 20, he said: “We’re going toward 50- or 60,000 people. That’s at the lower — as you know, the low number was supposed to be 100,000 people. We — we could end up at 50 to 60.” On June 25 he said: “If we didn’t do testing, we’d have no cases… you’re going to have a kid with the sniffles and they’ll say it’s coronavirus.” I collected all those quotes (and more, with sources) here: https://thedailyedge.substack.com/p/american-idiot. Hydroxychloroquine was proven to not help, and actually be harmful in patients by causing prolonged QT/ possibly torsades which I witnessed myself in the Covid ICU. The Trump administration did a horrible job of managing this pandemic and started out by intentionally withholding valuable information (such as the fact it was a highly contagious, airborne virus with a higher mortality rate that they knew from the beginning in January 2020) which could have saved numerous lives. There is no need for a debate here. This is no character attack. Just facts.
